i'm on day 2 of being sober and don't feel anything, no shakes or withdrawals or anything, gonna try to dry out for a week or so. sometimes i just have a couple drinks but most nights i'm at around 4 to 7. very rarely drink liquor and all my family are somewhat moderate to heavy drinkers and all living to be quite old. nbd or should i stop? alcoholispoisonmos can keep their thoughts to themselves

It will make you fat. I was drinking 2-3 non-light beers a day and stopped and immediately lost 10 lbs with no other effort.

He somehow gets belligerent and blackout much quicker now idk the mechanism, of that, but then he starts being annoying, borderline abusive toward people, embarrassing behavior, etc. I guess just becoming an alcoholic

I'd dry out for longer than a week. When you're into it like you are, it takes a lot longer than a week to really see and understand that stretches of sobriety are very doable and desirable.

It has been almost a year since I've had a drink and I don't miss it all that much. I do crack open an NA beer once a week so I guess one could say that I do miss it a little.
