Maybe he had some unrelated beef with someone and he wanted to fuck up the guy's car, and it just happened to be in front of the synagogue? This seems like the most likely explanation.
I mean, I doubt this Brazilian HLS visiting prof is actually an antisemitic terrorist and it doesn't seem like an effective form of intimidation. |

In this instance, I suspect that this is a nutty guy up to some bullshit and the presence of the synagogue, the holiday timing, and the fact that it has patrolling security is all incidental and just bad luck for our nutcase.
As you say, probably a beef with some parked car. Or maybe shooting out some annoying lights that shine through his window. Doesn’t really matter, because he’s about to be made an example. |
