Feel like there were games that came out in 2006 with much better graphics. Oblivion looks marginally better than the original Unreal from 1998

The quality of skyrim is really apparent in comparison, no wonder it is by far the most popular of all the ES games. Not once did I get an uncanny valley feeling playing skyrim
