40%?? Heart attacks?? Libs??
The article argues for a reversal of current marijuana promotion efforts due to mounting social and public-health damage, citing a new study in Montgomery County, Ohio, that found over 40% of drivers who died in car accidents between 2019 and 2024 had elevated levels of THC, averaging 30.7 nanograms—six times the level most states use to define impairment. The author suggests that marijuana, which is now five times more potent and undetectable by current breathalyzers, may be contributing to rising auto fatalities, and warns against a mooted federal plan to move the drug to a less risky schedule. This caution is supported by additional evidence of health risks, such as a six-fold increase in heart attack risk for young users, and the failure of legalization to eliminate the illegal market, as evidenced by recent busts of large-scale, illegal cannabis operations run by criminal organizations in California.

It was fucking stupid and weedmos will jump all over you for saying it.
Some people can handle it just fine. But it's very clear that a sizable percent of the population cannot handle it and it's causing a lot of problems

I can think of 3-4 people right this moment that started using edibles and vaping weed heavily and then literally lost their minds and became completely different people, ending their careers and relationships, etc.
To be fair Im assuming they had some underlying mental health issues that the weed use blew up into disaster for them.
Some people can handle regular weed use. Many many people cannot.
