Seems this is becoming more and more common. I've actually had wrong tip added on my restaurant bill in miami, i.e. 100% tip when I put 20%. Never had fraud in europe. In nyc the other day had a restaurant add an extra dish to my bill. They actually gave a correct bill but after I added the tip they included a new bill with extra $50. They removed it as soon as I said and said "my bad" meaning they do this routijely. |
