All this stuff being available on your phone makes it so simple to fire retarded bets. The apps bombard you with push notifications (get back in).
YouTubers are making millions of dollars off the views and ad revenue generated from their content, which millions of people view on a daily basis.
Kalshi, Polymarket, etc. make it even worse.
