Date: August 13th, 2026 2:35 PM Author: Federal insecure parlour striped hyena Popped in the 4k blu ray from The Criterion Collection. A beautiful piece of physical media. $32 on Amazon. Watched it in my Goycave on my new Epson Pro Cinema LS12000 4K PRO-UHD Laser Projector.
It was pretty good, a nice genre film, a cool ending etc. But not like some fantastically made masterpiece epic like Lawrence of Arabia but it's a very highly rated film so you have to highly praise it and talk about its Themes and Message. It's hard to emotionally connect with the characters cause they're oriental. Just being honest.
Next I will watch The Human Condition trilogy by the same director, 9+ hours of Japanese fun. You don't have to enjoy these films you just get to say you've watched them and you're cool.
