But the Transformers modern movies are a billion dollar franchise, while the GI Joe attempts are lol.

Also, as far as movies go, Transformers are cool and cinematic.
Isn't GI Joe essentially just a kids war movie? You're losing 90% of your audience straight away because they'd rather watch Saving Private Ryan |
