Uncle Sam can suck my balls through dirty drawls.

I'm gonna put them into a 409(a) deferred compensation so my bigger fees can sit (tax free) and grow in the market until I decide to withdraw.

I never really trusted those things but was very curious about it at one point.

I think it would make sense if you were getting toward the end of your career and wanted to create kind of a soft retirement landing. IIRC you can only withdraw slowly over 5 years.
