missed it in theaters because i was unenthused
pluses:
- tom cruise still looks good for 60 whatever
- action scenes were solid, especially the ones taking out the nuclear facility and the escape thereafter
- score was good
- solid tributes to val kilmer and goose
- miles teller and the blonde guy were good casting choices
negatives:
- jennifer connolly too old to be a love interest
- strong strong boomerisms, these old arrogant fucks won't get off the stage for the next generation, same thing in congress with nancy pelosi and barbara boxer, clinging to their positions until they die. we're going to get a geriatric top gun 3 in 30 years with tom cruise in diapers
- why are we supporting patriotism in this day and age? we're bombing the nuclear facility of another country so we can, uh, spread homosexuality and child trans surgeries? i kept feeling gross that dead message kept being pushed
- val kilmer looked like he had a lot of plastic surgery
- the female top gun pilot was quite eye rolling
- the film kept the homosexual undertones from the first film, very bizarre vibe
i guess it was OK overall, action scenes were good and i mostly watched it as a population study of why it was so popular, people are dumb was my answer i guess

cruise was 24 in first top gun so good question
most of the young generation are quite effeminate and faggy, like tom holland
michael b jordan as a blackie could do it but hes 36
how about scott eastwood? 37

the *reason* there are no solid white male stars under 30 is because Hollywood agitprop Jews have conspired for 30 years to prevent such a thing.
it would take all of 2 days to scour the midwest to find some 6'4" kid who could be molded into the next 'John Wayne' by a studio.
but Jews want you watching Girlbosses and niggers and (((Shia LaBeouf))), and white males are represented by Michael Cera. at best, you get these dopey, low-T male bimbo types like the kid in Drive.
