It really creeps me out when I interact with someone with kids and a family who is willingly bluepilled and clueless about the world. I try not to feel self righteous but I can't help but be grossed out by someone who takes on that kind of responsibility for other human life but goes out of their way to avoid having to do the right things for their own kids because it makes them feel "icky things"

There are so many of these people and my experiences with them have made me question how "selfless" humans are even capable of being at all

10 years ago if you’d pushed this theory in my presence I might’ve agreed that black people in the U.S. were a solid proof point, but white and Asian knowledge workers were evidence that a weaker set of family social structures was creating more opportunities for people who were less successful in earlier regimes (not just ugly women and gays, but also massively socially awkward, ugly, short straight men) and Latino lack of educational attainment was a blind spot for right wing culture warriors pushing the centrality of intact families raising school aged kids. But 10 years later it’s shocking how fucked in the head women and weak/loser males became when given ample space away from their family commitments. It’s blatant how wrong and unnatural it is and how much damage it’s doing, but the second order effects are now well underway as an entire generation is basically failing with no end in sight.
