One of the most 180 perks of WFH is I can just block out an hour in the middle of the week to go to CostCorp. The insane herds on the weekend are ljl

The trick on weekends is just to get there a few minutes before it opens and get what you need somewhat quickly as soon as it opens. No lines at checkout when I do this.

Spent $45 on gasoline, $102 on my full buggy, also cashed out a $182 voucher from using my Citi Costco card last year. Then hit the Grocer’s where we spent another $101. Note, at the Grocer, dementia mom plopped about $50 of pre-packed food and various sundries into my buggy for her “lunch.” I guess she needs preboiled shrimp, a prepacked salad dripping in listeria, a pack of pork dumplings that taste like cardboard, and some fresh fruit for her drive back to the sanatorium.
