Putting aside anyone's views on utility, how is this different than the gold or other commodities markets? Gold miner uses physical labor to dig up chunks of gold and then sells them into the market.
Unless there's something I'm missing here, I don't see how the markets are any different based on the author's focus on bitcoin mining, and i don't think anyone would use this feature of the gold market to claim that gold is a scam. |

w.r.t to expense to it that is quite literally being answered by side chains, roll ups, etc. going from 15trx/sec to 150k, for example.
the constant need for new investors is simply inherent in any new space and part of growth for any space. is this one that exists into perpetuity? your guess is as good as mine. tradfi has the same problem if it's a problem at all. that's growth. tradfi doesn't need new investors yet i keep getting spammed by various vendors on every advertising medium?
your oracle question actually answers itself. new ways of getting information that are chain agnostic are being implemented and continue to be developed.
