Went with my local Short Men's Group to see Napoleon. What a disappointment.

We organize activities, social events, intramural sports teams (those don't go well), etc. The goal is to make short guys feel socially active in a safe environment without Tall Guys around to AMOG you or bully you.
Since last year we've been PUMPED to watch Ridley Scott's Napoleon. Finally last weekend we got together with a crew of ~7 or so short guys to go see it. One guy even wore a Napoleon hat (hah!). If he were taller he really would have pissed off the people in the seats behind him.
Anyway, I can't overstate our devastation while watching the film. While I appreciate hiring a short man (Joaquin Phoenix), the movie was awful. Instead of being a brash, charismatic man who could capture the heart of a nation, Napoleon was depicted as a short little bumbling weirdo constantly belittled and cucked by his wife.
While we were outside waiting on Ubers, a drunk Tall guy shouted "hey short FAGGOTS, good luck conquering any pussy tonight!" We stood silent, shamefully got in our Ubers, and went our separate ways. |
