Date: June 20th, 2025 11:49 AM Author: Stubborn rigpig i don't know. it seems even-handed. iran is isolated. it makes sense for the US. the idea of having a friendly and loosely American-oriented iran is probably one of the best outcomes you could grab out of the wheels set in motion by the wars in afghanistan and iraq. and it's not going to take a real invasion to get it. the pragmatism/dealing with reality vs idealism/what it should be axis is pretty centered in this situation. |
