I have thought about this, and to me, the trickiest part is figuring out health care costs before I am eligible for Medicare. In principle, I can probably quit wagecucking once I hit around $6,000-$8,000 in monthly income and I have paid off my mortgage and my wife's student loans. But if our health insurance premiums are $3,000 a month with a $50,000 deductible, then the math no longer works.
