ARE COUNTRY are small towns and "cities" of 5, 10K, even upwards of 50-100K that are isolated from major urban areas.
Also, stop fetishizing life in these places. |

But your main point is wrong. Des Moines and similar cities are spread out and basically consists of a bunch of 10-20k people suburbs and neighborhoods. It is are country. |
