Kidney cysts are normal with age.
If the docs are not totally fraud and just looking to cover their ass, they will recommend monitoring with additional scans to make sure it's not growing, and then that will be the end of it.
They may want to biopsy if they're average (ie. still very) fraud. If they biopsy, there's a high chance of a false positive, and then you're wife is down the evil rabbit hole.
In Europe they never would have had the initial scan to begin with, but, if they did, they would tell her to only call back if she starts pissing blood. |

A contrast CT should be all she needs to determine that they are benign.. only if there are concerning characteristics does she need any further workup. Extremely unlikely that anyone ever suggests doing a biopsy of a cyst that is concerning for cancer.. you'd just seed the cancer to the peritoneum by doing so |
