Bruno Ganz is widely considered one of the greatest actors of all time. Downfall is considered a near perfect film by historians and critics as well as fans. It's arguably the most famous internet meme of all time. It piggybacks off of a work of true artistic genius. It's like if you could turn the Mona Lisa into a different art form.
Meanwhile AI = slop. Unfunny, uninteresting, appeals to the stupidest people. Incredibly cheap to produce and ubiquitous. Impossible to escape. |

Obviously memes are a recycled art form. But there was a human element that made them good. You're wrong to think that Bruno Ganz magnificent performance isn't what made the meme so great.

its a tool just like any other. youre just conflating all ai into the same bucket, but xtranormal was "AI" in the sense that it could animate and voice act a script automatically too. |
