During the recent primaries in TX, I noticed that alt-right twitter was very negative on Governor Abbott. If you were to go with X opinion, you would think that some dude called Doc Pete Chambers was about to sweep the primaries and be the GOP nominee. He lost. Quite badly, actually. Like his results did not match his X popularity, at all.
I think we will see something similar with Vivek Ramasacammy. The guy running against him is Casey Putsch. Again, very popular on X. But recent polling shows him losing to Scammy in the primaries.
Tucker is very popular and obviously has way more than 500 viewers. But it's not like he's about to create a national revolution or anything. The vice grip of Jews and neocon open-borders boomers is going to be difficult to break. |

I think the online right vastly underrates the fact that mainstream conservatives want someone who seems to have baseline proven competence, not just someone who says based things online. Abbott is seen as competent and he is very conservative overall to all but the most hardcore on the right.
It's like James Fishback in Florida. Guy should be running for the Florida House, not Governor. What has he actually ever done of note other than said based things online for attention? |

the major online right view doesn't seem to be that Putsch will beat Vivek, but that it is sad he is the only primary challenger, because if Vivek is the candidate a Dem will win in Ohio
