The 5800X3D is still going to run strong for years to come, as will any midrange X3D chip you buy for AM5. AM5 platform is general is barely an upgrade from AM4, as it still has no CPU lanes compared to Intel. AMD needs to put some CPU lanes in its next chipset or I'm buying a Mac.
