apparently the judge met with the prosecutor (who works for Fani Willis's office, remember her?) and a witness without the defense present. someone leaked that information to the defense, which moved for a mistrial. the judge demanded to know who told the defense attorney about the meeting, and he refused. judge put him in jail.

Id simply keep repeating, "I am not able at this time to adequately defend my client without Mr. Steele."

At each junction, when it comes time to cross-ex, etc., just sit there and repeat it. Judge cannot force you to do anything, and even if he allows the state to keep putting on a case, and they secure a verdict, it would be completely worthless.

Judge knows it, state knows it. That's the TRUMPcard d can play. Just refuse to do anything in defense, as you are "not prepared, not able".

Judge NEEDS an adequate defense for a legal verdict. Only you have the power to give any defense. Sit on your hands. Can't contempt you because you need your first-chair. "Judge Mr. Steele was assigned this witness, this argument, etc. I cannot do it adequately to defend my client."

At one point the black DA lady speaks and says they requested an ex parte hearing because it related to "a civil contempt matter" and not the criminal case. One weird trick!
