Just because one mode or form of existence is more evolutionarily competitive does not make it "morally" superior or even inevitable. This kind of thinking, which the above people always use to justify themselves, is a kind of retarded, self-cuckolding "might makes right" fallacy. I hold the human animal to be morally superior because I am a human animal and I like myself and the other humans who are like me. It's not any more complicated than that |

If the Phenotype Class can't beat the Computer Identififers, then either (1) this is generally true across all possible scenarios, or (2) it is probabilistically most likely, or (3) it is unlikely, but we live in an unlikely scenario.
It could be highly dependent on initial conditions. But again if the Computer Identifiers are winning and there is no credible challenger, im not following the arguement. |

That's a reasonable arguement (i.e., there are reasons for it), but its too tangled with a possible future where people in charge of AI actually support the continuation of the species and make the right decisions to keep humans alive.
Again this is different from the future you may prefer, but a K shaped future (where Computer Identifiers win) is consistent with the continuation of the species and the thesis that technology is not inherently suicidal. |

Virtually everyone else who is "into" thinking and discussing this sort of thing agrees with me fwiw. Even most of the computer people themselves, who are under some kind of delusion that "we" are going to magically "merge" with the computers or literally "become" computers (this is obviously impossible, and another symptom of thinking that human "consciousness" is somehow separate from our physical form. Mind body dualism has been a disaster for white people and for the human species) |
