Service and Waitstaff: There was only one employee acting as host and waitstaff when we arrived. He did remain calm and accommodating throughout the visit, but the service was slow due to him being the only person there.

Drinks and Bar Service: Upon our arrival we ordered drinks, one beer and one cocktail. The waiter told us there would be a minor delay in the cocktail as they were still "prepping ingredients" in the back. After a long wait, we realized the delay was that the bar tender hadn't arrived yet. Mind you the restaurant opened at 530pm and we arrived at 6pm. When the bartender finally arrived at 630pm, she approached the table to notify us that she could not make the original cocktail ordered as they were out of Mezcal. We then ordered a different item. It took so long to receive the drink we were done eating by then. The cocktail was also too sweet.

Given our experience, the waiter did offer to comp our drinks. But when the check arrived, one drink still remained which created an awkward experience as we needed to request the removal of the charge.

Food Quality: The sushi rolls were tasty, and the sashimi was fresh, but nothing truly stood out. The real star of the meal was the shishito peppers with bonito flakes--a delightful and flavorful dish.

Ambiance: While the ambiance was okay, it didn't leave a lasting impression. The mural and ceiling lights were a nice touch. The waiter and the bartender also could not agree on the volume of the music, one would turn it up and the other turn it down.

In summary, it seems like a mixed bag: good food, decent ambiance, but service that needs improvement. Hopefully, the restaurant takes your feedback to heart and makes necessary adjustments.
