The AfD honcho got elected to lead the state parliament in Sachsen-Anhalt with the help of four mystery defections from another party (a secret ballot was used). So the AfD will in fact take power in Sachsen-Anhalt in spite of only getting 44% of the vote.
These secret ballots could prove a way for the AfD to get power with less than 50 percent. |
