Steve Jobs was famous for easily getting totally unhinged and enraged over minor shit. People like that are assholes, but they're not necessarily unhappy. Now, it is more common that people like this lash out because they're miserable people, but I wouldn't assume that this is universal. |

If being an asshole and running a company really made him miserable, he could stop at any time. It isn't heroin, it isn't some drug. He did it because he loved power, including power over people. His idea of true power was being able to be a total asshat to them with zero consequences. This is why he was a really bad person but if that made him miserable then he could easily stop. He didn't. He kept doing it right up to when he was no longer physically able to and then he died.
Another example: TDNW would absolutely murder Russian children if he could. He would do this if he had everything else he ever wanted in life. He's just a bad person. |
