no. running a shitty retail store doesn't sound like the best use of $3-billion.
its like billy corgan running a tea shop. wtf is wrong with you man?

first thought was sure why not but actually no way.
my wife would to try to take it over or at least give a lot of “input” constantly. it’d just be a yuge headache. she is a Millennial.

Maybe
Vinyl is so fucking expensive, I can't comprehend how it's so popular. It doesn't sound better than digital unless a vinyl release has a master with more dynamic range and you can ignore the clicks and pops.
I feel like it's a meme that is on the way out.

In what way? In terms of quality you can stream in lossless or even hi-res lossless from Tidal, Apple Music & Qobuz.
In terms of selection nothing can top CDs. But Spotify has 99% of what I want and I can live without the 1% it doesn't have.
This might sound dumb but I got rid of my massive hoard of downloads for moral reasons and listen only to Spotify now.

Not exclusively vinyl, but CDs & shirts as well.
I'd open a metal shop, and have a number of JVs with European companies. (Ravage Records just re-released Resurrection's Embalmed Existence in SS & LS!)
Maybe I could get Dan Seagrave to sell prints & sign albums he painted.
