From my perspective, the key question is whether people want to inhabit a VR metaverse where their actions will be logged and complaints about "virtual groping" will be honored. I think the answer to this question is "FUCK no."
I do think, however, that a VR metaverse can exist on the blockchain that will have only the bare minimum of intrusion into users' behavior. This requires the founders to have the XO mindset of engaging in the most limited moderation possible and finding investors who share the same principles.
If the U.S. government starts passing laws prohibiting "virtual groping," this all becomes a different story of course. |
