I was an adolescent boy at the time, getting all kinds of the usual feminist lectures from teachers at school, trying to control you and make you feel guilty about who you are and what you want. It was very cathartic to finally hear a woman (or ex-woman) discuss the impact of testosterone on her. It’s probably one of the best pieces to ever run on the radio.
And then she goes on to to say she finally only understood math and science after taking testosterone; I found that hilarious. |
