To the extent that the material properties of titanium factored into the decisionmaking process at all, the advantage is one of weight.
It looks like Apple has been using the same "Ceramic Shield" glass since the iPhone 12, and its strong AF. Those screens survived a shitload of drops. And the results of that single test were pretty impressive since both screens survived an edge drop from 6' in the air. |
