I don't know if you've kept up with it, but the State of Gaming is grim. AAA Budgets are ballooning out of control. AAA studios will be willing to staff up with Engineers once they're through with layoffs. After the ongoing Crash is over, salaries will be much lower so they may be willing to take a chance on an Engineer with less experience rather than trying to hire damaged Gen X goods.
If no one is hiring, Indie Games, thankfully, offer a reprieve. You can make your own Game and sell it on steam imo. |
