as another poa just mentioned, maynard (singer/songwriter) is a bit of a weirdo (mostly in a good way). imo tool is a unique band both from his songwriting perspective/ability and also because they are one of the only successful bands that is primarily drums focused/driven. danny carey is my favorite drummer of all time.
steps to enjoy tool:
time warp to the late 90s
grab a 180 pair of headphones (veddy important)
settle into a comfy chair w the aenima album
weed/cocktail optional

just realized: in a way, gizz might be the perfect band for mpa. the frequency of release and vibes of their albums kinda remind me of his forcememeing in a weird way
