They 100% believe what they're doing is going to make them irresistibly hotter to everyone. And the first time they got a minor facelift or a botox they got a major pop in attention and probably helped their career. But yeah the people who go all in on give me an entirely new face have lost the plot entirely. Going all in is just crazy.
yeah i'm saying maybe their team nudges them toward it, convincing them it's a good idea, but really it's part of a calculated "sacrifice" (stars frequently have to give something up to get opportunities) - watch her career resurge after this

If it works it works. But sometimes it doesn't work. Like Madonna. Sometimes you just look weird as fuck forever and don't get cast in anything.
Whatever Meryl Streep did or didn't do her career has kept on going forever. Maybe it's not about being the bombshell lead at 36 but finding deeper roles. Demi Moore has had a lot of longevity too. She looks her age but she looks great. So idk what the secret formula is. I'm not an expert. But I think the whole completely redo my face so I can look 25 again is not the move.

if you're going under the knife getting those weird bumpy moles on your chest excised seems like the no-brainer, compared to having your entire face rearranged

In her recent interviews, Lawrence has been considerably more open about cosmetic procedures than the rumors alone would suggest.
Baby Botox: In a September 2026 interview with Vogue, she confirmed receiving small amounts of Botox, while emphasizing that she needs facial movement for acting.
Breast surgery: In an interview published October 27, 2026, she confirmed undergoing breast surgery following her two pregnancies. This doesn't explain the changes in her face.
Facelift: She has expressed an interest in getting one in the future, but that is not confirmation that she has already had one.
Eye surgery, facial fat removal and extensive facial reconstruction: She has not confirmed undergoing these procedures.
In fact, in 2023, she specifically denied having eyelid surgery and a nose job, attributing the perceived changes to makeup, aging and losing facial fullness.
