If someone has a 55 iq they are not preparing food or taking care of any necessities of life. they are metnally retarded, or they have suffered a brain injury at some point.

but in all these african countries if you go out to the tribes where people are recording 55 iqs, these people live just fine. they have tribal roles and purposes and rituals and gods and whatnot. they mostly have enough to eat and mostly do okay by themselves even if life is shorter and often brutal in some ways. its dumb to say that they have an "iq" of 55 because it doesnt convey anything useful as we understand that term in the west.

they may have an iq of 55 that they receive on a test but it doesnt mean anything for them being able to assemble some modest social arrangements that would otherwise be impossible for someone of a 55 iq in the west.
