You need a goddamn USB "CB radio" that costs more than a IRL CB radio? I'm not even getting paid real money to drive.

I got the Euro Truck Simulator years ago when Steam was having those $0.99 sales. I never played it until today though.
First, the graphics are not good. I had everything maxed out and it still looked like a 30 year-old game.
As far as the actual game, it uses a ton of time compression so that your "3 hour" drive only takes about 30 minutes. So even if the maps are based on real places, they are compressed so that you don't have long stretches of nothing. I thought it would be 1:1 scale but this is bullshit. I would never play it.

The ones who really put a lot of effort into this stuff are just Nerds. They spend untold thousands of dollars on the 5090 powered PC, thriple monitors, force feedback steering wheel, and related simdriving accessories. That's not even to mention spending hours simulated driving on the highway
Losers and scumbags wouldn't bother with all of that shit.

This would be cool if it taught you how to Back Up a Trailer through trial and error. Backing up a trailer is the ultimate accomplishment in driving and in and of itself puts you in contention for Uberprole status.
The game itself would be boring unless it puts you in perilous af situations, no GPS, if you miss your exit you end up somewhere where there's nowhere to turn around for miles, shit like that,
