I think most people would agree that he would likely lose the general election. The bigger questions in my mind are:
1.) How are there so many mail-in ballots for a mayoral election
2.) If there are that many mail-in ballots, why can't they be counted day of?
I don't live in LA or California and don't give a shit if it goes down the toilet. But it is hard to comprehend for those of us who live in places with more seamlessly run elections.

I don't think it's that retarded of a question. Especially given how many opportunities now exist for early voting, even in pretty red states.
Do they not start counting the mail-in votes until after the polls close on election day?
I'll go back to my trough in a moment, but the sense people have is that these magic vote dumps just appear a week after election day and it seems strange and like something that has never been the norm until 2020.

1. You *could create a system where mail-in ballots have to be postmarked a week in advance. But people would forget, so more people will vote if the postmark deadline is the same as election day.
2. Going to stand in line to vote is a giant waste of time.
3. It's the least surprising thing in the world to expect that mailed-in ballots are going to skew strongly lib. Farm Animals have been given the download that voting by mail is fraudulent, so they all vote in person. Libs, OTOH, have been told that voting by mail is 180, so more of them do.

I (a Farm Animal eating from a trough) think there is a subset of The Right that still just cannot fathom the reality on the ground in places like LA and New York. And often they don't live there and still care too much. Obviously The Left does some version of this as well, look at all the insane money getting thrown at the deranged pedo Talarico in Texas (or Beto before him.)
