harming civilians is always wrong, but the IDF soldiers they killed were fair game and can burn in hell. btw the original plan was just to take soldiers hostage, which is totally understandable - Hamas are ultimately freedom fighters and this was an attempt to get leverage over their occupiers. the music festival was just supposed to take place 10/6 but the Israeli government, who knew of the Hamas plans a year in advance, had it extended to the next day so civilians would be killed and the attack could be used as an excuse to commit unspeakable evils.
so overall i rate 10/7 about a 5/10 in morality and execution. it sucks when innocents are killed 100% of the time but ultimately the goals were noble and a lot of the harm was Israel's fault (i didn't even get into the Hannibal directive and how some of the victims were actually killed by IDF soldiers, or the stand-down orders...)
