I went on a date to the Rodeo sometime in 2010 to see Brooks & Dunn, which went horribly. She basically never saw me after that night and I knew it was over when I went for a kiss and she turned her head away. I went inside my apartment and turned on Lady Gaga’s second album (the one with Alejandro) and grabbed the volume knob on my Denon receiver and cranked it all the way to the right. There may have also been some Nelly Furtado best of and a little Rhianna in there too. I was also into the group Above and Beyond and their mixed tape Sirens of the Sea at this time in my life. Possibly some Girl Talk All Day. I went a couple of times in 2006-2009 era. Once was to see Pat Green. |
