Hypo: one million dollars to play defense on one single NFL drive

You are playing on defense and can choose your position. Do you you take this bet and if so what is your plan?
edit: let's assume the offense is starting a normal drive at the 25. assume the clock is not a factor for the offense. assume they dont know about your hypo but are otherwise highly motivated to score as any team should be. they'll be playing normal ball and not going for it on 4th etc just to fuck with you. that being said maybe you get lucky and they make a cowardly punt and you win. |

My reasoning is that no matter the position I'm going to be a huge weakness, but at least at linebacker, you have a chance to get to the qb unblocked and potentially make a very helpful play. Our coverage and tackling would suffer greatly, but at db, they would quickly see I'm slow as shit and keep taking advantage. As a lineman, I would get pancaked every play and leave a gaping hole every down. |
