ur a lawyer. u know this. it's strict liability is strict liability. the publishment doesnt take fault into account. his alleged misunderstanding is completely irrelevant. (and it's total BS that it was an innocent mistake, but that's beside the point.)
other tennis players have been completely non-negligent and have been banned for 2 yrs -- bc strict liability means exactly that. because he's a superstar, he not only got a 3 month ban but they chose to time the 3 month ban just so it happened to fall in the offseason between the AO and RG so he wouldnt miss a slam. and he didnt lose any ranking points either. total fraud.
