you need to have a thesis for a crypto investment/trade
trying to trade without a thesis is a bit like flying blind at night
the thesis for something like SAMO was that it was a SHIB-adjacent trade. if SHIB rallied, it was likely that other copycat DOGE cryptos would rally. and if SHIB stopped rallying, then it was also likely that SAMO would stop rallying too.
so how would you know when SHIB was going to stop rallying? one idea is, retail would push up the value to try to flip DOGE. but after that, it was unclear where SHIB would go. so one point to potentially exit was when SHIB flipped Doge.
disclaimer: i haven't sold any of my SAMO, because the second leg of the thesis is that there's a tiny but non-trivial chance that elon musk may discover SOL and SAMO one day, and if that happens, SAMO will moon insanely hard.
