Not being completely exclusive with a girl does not equal giving up on her. And plenty of girls that seem fun and chill and hot when they’re 19 are less so when they’re 25 let alone 40. Locking down a girl in college is the EQ equivalent of buying a luxury car as an investment. It makes no sense because you know for a fact the value of the car is very likely to depreciate. Sure maybe you spend decades carefully nurturing it and it’s one day a classic that’s more valuable. But you can still do that with the same car a few years down the road and if that car is really the car that deserves all that time and care and attention then it will be excited that you ended up together, not resentful that you didn’t immediately commit or inextricably committed to another uh driver.
