Date: August 26th, 2022 9:21 PM Author: Gold hell ghost of tsushima was actually pretty good for its genre (assassin's creed style open world). it had some real feeling where the ubisoft games usually don't. the combat does get really boring, though - get ready to button spam. sekiro is hard, but it's a steep curve that ends shortly. once you figure out how to parry (admittedly harder than dark souls but not as hard as nioh), it's fine. there'll be stuff you have to look up, but it's not bad. yeah check out catherine. given your relationship threading, you might enjoy the... themes. |

So it might just be that you've learned everything there is to learn from playing them, but will still have many heartwarming experiences being involved in them in some way, given that many are legitimately profound works of art that can entertain, educate, or elevate / edify in some way (Mel Gibson's 3 E's of true art). |

7/10. good game, but the replay annoyed the fuck out of me. weapon leveling system was too basic, no armor. Word system was annoying. Story was good and music was very nice. |

Running seems a bit slow. But combat is pretty fun. I'm liking it quite a bit already.
I was thinking. Since these people are all so woke, why don't they make an African themed game. Surely there was some culture and action going on. Or is throwing spears and rocks too boring? Raciss players, I say! |

I've read some reviews that complained about the limited kinds of items available and how they are all "generic". I can kinda see this already: flower, bamboo, iron. No specific variety of flowers. So maybe not as RPG/open world as BotW. On the other hand, the combat/skill system seems complicated enough, so maybe best to have fewer items to hunt down. We'll see! |

also, they auto heal you in tutorial, but if you get hit and try to access menu, it's technically still in animation and it pauses instead so you can't heal. i think what happened was i got 2 shotted or something without time to heal.
either way, not a great first impression... |

The tower was just 180. Loved how story for C/D was done, switching perspectives. And the final boss switching between the two characters was very seamless.
Playing Replicant before was nice, some added feels.
