But it's also a really useful travel language, I'm in the southwest so it's handy sometimes, it's the default language in half of this hemisphere and somewhat useful in Europe.
It's a first world problem but life got really easy and I'm sleepwalking through my $200K/year job (poor by XO standards I know but I make it work). Need something to occupy my brain to not get too bored and learning a foreign language seemed like a good choice and from there Spanish is really the most logical language to pick up for a variety of reasons. |
