If you really want to get into a Dexy rabbit hole, Rowland arguably stole the Celtic folk style from Al Archer, who was in the band for the first album but left. Rowland apparently admitted this later.

my boss was this 40ish year old short lesbian with a mullet named cammie. she used to ask me to "go ahead and not surf the internet so much" during work hours. i never worked, i just poasted on various boards. she later spoke at an event at my wife's company. not sure what tf she was talking about, she was a middle management drone making like $103k. nice lady tho.
there was a gay man named don who brushed his teeth 3x a day in the bathroom

Date: October 6th, 2026 11:59 AM Author: odious peach pocket flask i was dating this plain chick and lived with her. i should have dumped her but i really loved her family and i have weird attachment issues. anyway, this cute girl (had a kind of emo look to her) worked a couple floors up. i had to email her once for work reasons and she wrote back in a vaguely flirtatious way. fast forward like a month and we are sneaking off to the parking garage so i can fingerbang her and whatever.
anyway, a few months after this all started, she was getting married. she went away for 3 weeks. a week for the wedding, 2 for her honeymoon. there was a big hurricaine in 2003 and she was still gone during that. only reason that's relevant is i spent a lot of time with the mid girl's family during the storm (our power was out for days) and i realized i didn't want to do what i was doing anymore. when the girl got back i said i thought we should break things off. a couple weeks later, she took a whole bottle of pills while in the office and they had to cart her off in an ambulance and she got committed to the nuthouse for a little bit.
also, i went right back to cheating. about a year after this, i started up with gary, who is now my wife. discuss.
oh, i should mention that the side piece from the office ended up blowing up like 100 lbs with a thyroid issue the summer gary and i got together (2005) and boy did i breathe a sigh of relief |

the summer she blew up (see above), she ended up leaving. funnily enough, she moved back to cleveland. funny bc that's where gary is from. gary and i ran into her at a barnes and noble in georgetown in the fall of 05. i'm sure gary got a kick out of that because she looked great and this chick had turned into a hambeast. |
