man it is boring shit. endless dialog. dull ass repetitive quests: another challenge where i carry bags of grain back and forth!! everything is on rails. few interesting things to discover. combat is rare and terrible.
now im wondering if KCD1 was actually any good, or if i played it when i was really damn bored.

I somehow let Redditors hype KCD1 up for me with its REALISTIC combat but it’s pretty much elder scrolls iirc, you just level up a bit then enemies melt. The beginning is harder but that’s every western game. They expect you to start a 60 hour game at peak gaming skill and not improve. Bc the play testers are nolifers and you don’t improve much from 20,000-20,100 life to date gaming hours. With that said I enjoy the Holy Roman Empire/bohemia stuff or any era of history that no one cares about. |
