Maybe also to help Inflate Grades at privates so that snowflakes can get high GPAs. As an Econ undergrad at big state U I just had a bunch of Tests that were a YUGE part of the grade iirc. They assigned “homework” sometimes I guess but it was worth like 8.75% of the grade or something. Maybe they changed this bc it was considered misogynistic but this is how it was when I started college in like 1999 or something. Nerds/Engineers are probably the most fraud-prone but they still have Tests afaik.
