I grew up in Morris County, NJ and we used to see bands play at Waterloo Village, this park that was surrounded by a three foot high shitty wooden fence.

We went to see Steve Miller Band there but we didn't have any tickets as did hundreds of other people who showed up. Some people were having success jumping the fence and running into the crowd but security was catching 9 out of 10 jumpers. There were four or five of us in our group and the only one old enough to buy beer was out buying beer while we hung around and waited for him before attempting to jump the fence.

We run over to a crowd of people chanting, "GO! GO! GO!" and the next thing we knew the fence came down and we were in a stampede running into the crowd. We made it and there was our boy in the crowd waiting for us with the beer. Apparently the fence came down on the other side too and he got in that way.

They put up a 6 foot high chain link fence after that.
