EDIT: I guess what I'm saying is, look, I don't know which way the causality runs, I'm sure there are some z variables, etc., but doing this is not typically highly correlated with other accepted measures of life success. |

i never tell anyone irl this because they'd chimp out and think i'm some kind of psychopath even though i'm not at all. it's just instinctively preferable to me. being a beta provider doesn't interest me at all and while toddlers are cute enough, kids don't really start being that fun until they're gradeschool age and are capable of thinking and playing on a human level |
