I have you beat slightly on house sq footage, but you beat me by a fucking mile on acreage + barn. Curious how far are you from a major metro? I’m 20 mins.

We're about an hour to the city core and 40 minutes to the shopping center burbs. We are 7 miles out from the center of a town of 17000. It's 9 miles to the grocery store. The county is pretty rural. A little over 60000 people in 530 sq miles.

You forgot to add in the winter house stats, along with the other properties you purchased to keep your issue housed, but not under your roof.

You probably live in a neighborhood. The country is more random. Trailers aren't allowed unless grandfathered in, but houses range from shacks to luxury digs.

I bought in a town where bylaws prohibit subdividing past a certain point and houses have to be offset from the street by 30 feet (iirc). Neighboring towns lot sizes are all tiny, houses stacked on top of each other, dunno how ppl do it.

Which poster has the worst price per sqft ratio?

Mine is approx $1,050/sqft for a 2350 sqft house. SoCal so nothing special.

Pretty sure EPAH's house is not the largest, but he might win if the contest is "most prestigious location."
